Hey Friends!

I recently had an engagement shoot with Carissa and Evan and they were so fun and so sweet! Carissa came with so many great ideas for pics and a super cute story on how they met! We started the shoot at the golf course where Evan tried to teach Carissa to golf. These two have known each other since they were kids and even dated when they were little! The shoot at the golf course was extra special because as kids Evan had tried to teach Carissa to play golf for their first Valentine's day! Too cute right?! Check out their engagement pics!

Hey everybody!

Shooting a Friday wedding, Mere and I were able to block out the calendar to have family weekend with Ellie. And because we've had this Friday wedding booked for a year, we got to plan out a fun weekend in Kansas City!

Aside from hanging out on the Plaza and also eating at Top Chef Master's contest (and Next Iron Chef contestant) Celina Tio's restaurant (see my instagram feed for photos), we got to have a dance party with the gang from Yo Gabba Gabba!

Seriously, I LOOOOOVE Yo Gabba Gabba. It wasn't the 1st time Ellie and I had seen them live, and both times were a fun workout. :) No really... it's like dancing non-stop for two hours. Afterward this time, we got to go back and meet the gang, which was definitely the highlight of it all.

Man oh man... I'm in love with this session. I photograph these kiddos every year, and every year they bring the coolest kid's clothes to wear! Jack and Caroline are full of life, style, and sweetness. I hear it's really hard to buy great little boy's clothes, but this seems to be a masterpiece!

I love photographing in New York city, and photographing bridal portraits in the Big Apple has been a dream of our bride Lindsey forever! Of course, she oozes fashion so it made total sense to go to the fashion capital of the US, right? :) Have a look... fall in love!

I love love love Lindsey's wedding color palette: turquoise and red! (So much so that I went ahead and matched - heehee!) Lindsey had some really beautiful details and jaw dropping florals.
