Haha... well, I've presented this wedding in reverse, haven't I? ;) The details from Reid and Rebecca's wedding, and their reception at the Clinton Library are top notch! Her cake literally took my breath away with it's impressive size. Her exquisite taste in her shoes, dress, even her perfume, had me excited and inspired.

Hey everybody!

For as long as I've been alive (or at least since age 5), I've been a Cubs fan. Growing up in Missouri, I was always surrounded by Cardinals fans, and every year I got to hear about how crazy I was to love such an unlovable, losing team. I think it instilled in me a love for the underdog in pretty much any situation. I myself have been an underdog most of my life, but with God's hand in my life, He has directed my path when I had no direction.

This year the Cubs are in the playoffs, and of course are playing the Cardinals. I thought I could use my Cece as a good luck charm.

Wow do I love my job.  I am allowed to spend the most important days of our couples' lives with them. And wow... I have the best couples.  Sweet, stylish, sophisticated... all of these embody Eileen. You can tell from her wedding details, their wedding at Hunt Chapel, and the reception at Pinnacle Hills Country Club.

Hey everybody!

Shortly after I learned the Cubs were heading to the playoffs, I got to go to Joplin to shoot the best Harry Carey impersonator I've ever known.  Preston makes me laugh, and he always has.  Throughout the wedding day, he kept making Katie laugh, which is surely one of the reasons she married him.  It was a perfectly sweet wedding in my hometown of Joplin, MO. I always love going back there, especially to celebrate two love birds who are perfect for each other.  Here are some highlights from their wedding... (portraits coming tomorrow!)

Hey everybody!

Today's wedding is a woodland fairy-tale wedding at St. Catherine's at Bell Gables. The Austin, TX, couple fell in love with images they saw of St. Catherine's online and knew they had to be married here. I was honored to be the photographer they chose for this darling wedding. I feel so comfortable shooting there (they have such a great staff who know me by name) and I always find different ways to shoot, and in different locations.
