This Jonesboro couple won me over with their fun personalities on our engagement session recently. We ran around campus (they were here fore a home Hogs football game) and a couple other spots shooting along the way, and I loved getting to know them better.

The leaves in Fayetteville are so amazing right now, and I was excited to use them as a backdrop for Casey and Cody's engagement portraits...

Hey everybody!

Once upon a time, I ran out of gas in my car. I called my friend Megan, who drove to me and picked me up and saved me a bunch of money, and time. In exchange for her giving heart, I told her I wanted to do a mini session of her and her high school sweetheart and husband, Blake. Little did I know when I said this that they'd show up looking fabulous, and that Megan was freaking excitable (how many times have I said that "excitable" is my favorite quality?!). We got some great shots, y'all!

Chillest of chill brides, Hannah cracked me up all day.  She and Chris had a gorgeous wedding at Pratt Place Barn recently, and I've got some gorgeous details for you!  The crazy thing about that is that the family pulled together days before the wedding to make this a success after a wedding planner fiasco (not for public, sorry!).  Anyway, you'd never be able to tell! Hey everybody!

When Hannah was ready for the first look with Chris, she told me there would be no tears.  She was excited to see him and said she'd probably give him a high five (which she did, haha!)


I love this wedding party, full of Benny Brides and the coolest girls around.

Since Hannah and I are friends, I had to hop in a picture with her. Awwwww, love this girl!

This is the sweetest moment, y'all!







This is a cool dance shot - Hannah's family hung a wall of lights at Pratt Place Barn - it looked fabulous!

These two were so entertaining all night!

Hey everybody!

The most stylish kids I know are back on the blog today! The Rhodes family has been on this blog every year since I don't know when! They always dress to impress, and we always have a great time. Hey everybody!

Happy Thanksgiving! I'm also thankful for the Walters family! Tom has been my best friend since the 2nd grade, and to call him my best friend at the age of 35 is truly a blessing. I've loved watching him go through life, become a husband, and a great dad. Here are his girls, who I'm also thankful for. :)

I'm still so honored that Peachpit Press saw the potential in me and my early version of the book (it's been updated and revised, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out!); I can't believe I'm the author of a book!

I wrote it as 200 little nuggets that have helped my business succeed over the past 16 years. As I walked up to Liz and Josh's loft in downtown Joplin, I died.
