Hey everybody!
Today's post features one of the coolest wedding weekend events I've ever photographed! When Morgan and Hunter invited their guests to Napa for the weekend for their wedding, they planned a great wine country activity: wine blending. Entering the day, I knew nothing about blending wines, but by the end of the session I felt like an expert! It was super fun and everybody loved it!
Step one, read about and smell the wines.
Step two, taste. (this was a fun step, obvi)
Step three, pull your favorite wine for your dominant wine.
Step four, start designing your label.
Our bride Morgan demonstrates step five: adding your secondary wine.
Then, if you don't like your creation, pull another wine.
Once you have your blend, mix a big batch.
Then cork it in your own bottle.
Then, share it with your friends!
How fun, right?!
The rest of the day we continued the tour at other wineries, had a delicious lunch, and learned all about how some of the best wine in the world is produced!
