Hey everybody!
I haven't done one of these in awhile, but I want to get back into the how-to's of getting some of my favorite shots. Today's little lesson comes from Maegan and Nathan's Jonesboro wedding, which I'm going to share over the next few days - YAY!
This ring shot is a beautiful, classic, white and bright shot that makes the rings POP off the page (I didn't do any photoshop to the image other than my basic blogging action!). Using window light, and then propping up the other part of the box to act as a reflector (shown in the bottom image) I shot from above with a 100mm macro lens, exposing for the shadows of the image (that had been mostly filled in from the reflector). I also had on a white shirt which helps reflect a little. :)
