Hey everybody!
I've been known to cry at weddings. Hand-written vows from the groom for his bride... a dad choking up as he gives his daughter away... but at Rachel's wedding I cried for a different reason.
Rachel is one of the most thoughtful people I've ever met. As her favor, she did the most wonderful thing in honor of Cece (my daughter, who was diagnosed with Autism, and her flower girl). They made a donation to Autism Speaks on her behalf and put out m&ms with an encouraging and thoughtful message for her guests to read. I had no idea she was doing that until Meredith called me over to show me...
Immediate tears. The generosity and thoughtfulness of some people are so inspiring. I'm so happy to know Rachel. I love her as if she was my own daughter.
