Hey everybody!
I opened my inbox the other day to so pretty cool news. Awhile back I had entered some images from last year into a photography contest centered primarily around wedding photographer, and it looks like I'm a finalist! I didn't set out to win anything; really, I just want to have clients who love and appreciate me and my art for their wedding day. I love taking classic images that will never go out of style, that the couple can look back on in 5-10-20 years and feel those moments again, and that they can share with their children some day and their grandchildren some day.
I'm sure I won't win, but it's such an honor to be selected as a finalist. The email said my images made it in the top 3 percent of all images submitted (for most votes), which is so humbling to me. Photographers from all over the world vote, so it really is kind of a big deal (I'm almost crying over this... so cool!)
It's scary putting myself out there like this, but it's also so rewarding. Seeing other people love my work is icing on the cake. Thank you thank you thank you!
