Hey everybody!
I once had a friend (who moved away) who told me that Easter is her favorite holiday. More than Christmas. She said people should have Easter parties and treat it as important (or even more) than Christmas, because everybody has a birthday, but only Jesus Christ has conquered death.
It is a remarkable thing that Jesus did, and it's what sets Him apart from everybody else. I'm thankful to love a God who is bigger than death... bigger than life.
I'm thankful to have a relationship with the Lord who covers all my sins with his mercy and grace.
Easter is cute, with all the bunnies and eggs and candy, but let's remember why we celebrate the MOST important holiday.
"He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying." Matthew 28:6
