Hey everybody!

Today is National Autism Awareness Day. As you know from this post, Cece was diagnosed with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) in 2015 after a long speech delay, which leads to a bunch of other delays. I have to say, since I haven't really given an update in awhile publicly, that she is making incredible progress. She's recalling words so much better and learning how her mouth works in forming sounds. She is mimicking better and better and retaining a lot of what she is learning in her school, her speech therapy, and her occupational therapy. I'm so proud of my sweet little lady and all the progress she is making. In addition to that, she is still the silly and {VERY} loving and affectionate little girl (not too common with children diagnosed ASD). What a girl.

I'm so thankful for her diagnosis and her therapists she's seen week after week. I'm thankful that the therapy exists and that God is using her in some big way (you just wait!).

I know that without research on ASD, Cece wouldn't be where she is today, so I just want to say thank you to the organizations that help her so much. Also, I have to share that today Riffraff Fayetteville, Riffraff Dallas, and shop riffraff.com are sharing 30 percent of their profits with Autism Speaks! If you get a chance, go by and make a purchase for a great cause!

Here are a few photos of Cece in her "Light it up blue for Autism Awareness" outfit we shot earlier this week...

Talk to you soon,
Dale
