Sarah and Stephen's Carthage Wedding

Hey everybody!

Customarily, I start weddings off with a detail collage (don't worry, one is below), but I just HAD to start with two images that set the tone for the entire day: Sarah's gorgeous bouquet (from the Wildflower in Joplin) and Sarah's Vera Wang dress.  The location (and super cool ceiling that I HAD to include in the shot is that of the Phelps House in Carthage, where Sarah got ready and had her first meeting with Stephen.  Okay... read on!

Lots of personal touches and a beautiful monogram were carried throughout the wedding day.

Here's Mere's vision for the beautiful bridal suite at the Phelps House as Sarah's bridesmaids and grandma helped her into her dress.

And those to-die-for Chanel shoes...

Oh... hey ladies!

Sarah and Stephen had a sweet first meeting, and then we did some portraits (more of those coming to the blog soon!)

Sarah and Stephen hand write letters to each other, which is SO endearing, and they wrote letters to each other on the wedding day to kind of cap it off.  Fun fact: Since letters play such a big role in their relationship, and since the live so far apart, Stephen hand wrote Sarah's dad a letter asking for her hand in marriage.  How neat!

I love what they did to the ceremony space.  We were able to capture some really neat shots by shooting through the strung lights.

Special moment! I love this emotion!

And one more from the ceremony: the kiss!

Stay tuned for more from this beautiful wedding!

Talk to you soon,
Dale
