Hey everybody!
Alex and John Michael have been away in Europe on their honeymoon (making me very jealous through their instagram posts), but they get back today so I thought I'd post a couple shots of some of my favorite details from their wedding day.
One of my very favorite colors for wedding details is blush pink... it's soft and sweet (like my favorite weddings are!), it's not overpowering, and creates a really romantic feel. Alex had blush details everywhere I looked!
If you know Alex, she's a huge Harry Potter fan (like me!), so I loved seeing little details incorporated into her wedding reception that gave a little nod to our literary hero.
This cake used a couple golden snitches on it, another HP nod. What I love is that if you didn't know what it was, it just looked like a fancy gold embellishment. So cool!
Sometimes I dream of taking the bouquet home with me and using it as a pillow - hahaha! Fo' reals, though... this bridal bouquet is DREAMY.
You'll notice from the first collage that Alex had a pretty fab pair of Badgely Mischka shoes for the ceremony. For the reception, she switched into these personalized converse (Ellie are you reading this? Aren't these awesome?!)
